They could restart KidNation with the child detention centers, they already don’t even have enough staff to supervise them. Throw some cameras in there and boom, KidNation 2.0.

When they come in a hundred years to pick through the bones on the edges of the exclusion zones, I hope they get enough good data and wisdom to make sure nothing like the United States ever exists again.

The wild West sounds pretty great right now. Ultimate freedom - everyone was real polite because being rude was risking your life. If someone does something fucked up, you either get together to post a bounty or get a bunch of guys together to hunt them down

Until corporations and the Pinkertons got involved, then the feds, it honestly sounds like a huge step up from where we are

      Are you insinuating something?

This has been posted several times by several outlets and the articles are all clear enough:

The Department of Homeland Security is considering collaborating on a TV show (…) that would pit immigrants against each other in a contest to get their U.S. citizenship applications fast-tracked, a department official confirmed May 16.

Sorry, I just can’t. With this government, you just cannot know, and discussing it is pointless. Hopefully you’re right and nothing shakes out. Til then 🤐

I don’t know if there are others that did a better job but the only source the USA Today article had was the Daily Mail, other than a quote they got from DHS which simply denies there’s any truth to it.

The reporting states that the proposal has been submitted and had not been approved or denied. “it is being considered” could mean anything from someone there thinking it’s a good idea and running it up the chain all the way to someone thinking," what is this shit," before stamping a denial on it.
