Back when I was dependant on caffeine to a concerning extent, I would turn my unused coffee into ice cubes so I could chill my coffee with coffee

I was going to suggest doing the same for liquor, but that only works after my cousin stays the night. Funny excuse they offered once- “your freezer is too cold, it’s causing the alcohol [to sublimate.]” Bitch, don’t lie about your alcoholism, that just makes me more certain that it’s a problem.

It’s true though, it’s pretty much impossible to turn hard liquor or liqueurs into hard ice using normal (i.e. ‘isn’t made for science laboratories’) freezers, and the liquor slush you get from ultra cold freezers isn’t that great, either.

How exactly is not liking liquor slush a sign of alcoholism?

The joke here is that his cousin is secretly drinking the alcohol and filling the bottles up with water so that nobody will see that there is something missing.

But water freezes better than alcohol.

I feel like I want you to have the same path of discovery that I did. If you found fully frozen vodka and whiskey bottles in your home freezer, what do you think could have caused that?

I’ve done this with orange juice so that my orange juice doesn’t get watered down with regular ice because I like mine super cold.
