We would still be in the stone age without hyperspecialized super nerds that did nothing all day but try out different combinations of clay or coal or ore. They basically bruteforced technology and that shit is so impressive if you watch stuff like “Primitive Technlogy”. Even when you have modern knowledge, recreating the processes that you had to use to refine materials in the stone/iron age is incredibly hard and labor intensive.
Or below-average-intelligence people that would just try stuff, like… putting pineapple over pizza, or whatever. Diversity is a valuable.
I’m not trying to be mean or angry when I say this, but this is kinda an “all lives matter” type of comment.
I guess the question is: how can we dedicate ourselves to employing our atypicality in such a way that it enhances human learning so significantly that our works remain remarkable for over three hundred years?
