in term of bone, the bone is small and tiny enough for the tail to make a sharp curve, so it is possible. But if we look at the muscle…
It separated into two group, which are extrinsic (the base) and intrinsic (among those tiny bone). So, can the muscle cooperate together to make a “S” shape? Yes, I guess.
But one thing to remember that those tiny bone may become larger as it scale up to a human body. As a result, the radius of the “S” is larger and can not make a sharp curve as expected. (or is it?)
